About Our Founder

Arnie Labofsky founded furniture industries in the mid-1970s and loved being in this inspirational industry every day. As a fearless leader, he believed in the core principle of “do right by your clients and team members”, and that same guiding principle is instilled in our company culture to this day.

Our History

1952

Furniture Industries was founded in 1952 as a furniture manufacturing+ REUPHOLSTERY company.

1962

by 1962, we grew into one of the largest reupholstery companies in the country.

1975

in 1975, we began to offer services of interior design, procurement, + installation.
