After 10 years of learning and understanding the hospitality furnishings business, Furniture Industries began offering a complete service package of Interior design, procurement and installation.

A fabric company which supplies mill lot fabrics to upholstery and manufacturing customers across the nation was added in 1986, and within just 3 years it grew into one of North America’s top 20 such firms.

However, as the fabric business prospered, the economic challenges of actually manufacturing furniture in Minnesota became more and more daunting. So in 1994 we began sub contracting our specific construction designs to other manufacturers in the South where we could maintain our competitive cost structure without compromising any of the quality which always has distinguished our pieces.

In 2006 the third generation began joining the firm and today the name Furniture Industries is recognized throughout the hospitality industry. We have achieved something our founder, Elliott Gensler never imagined. Through our family of companies and our 40 years of manufacturing experience we have become a trusted single source for all design and furnishing needs. We pride ourselves on attention to detail.
